I am an ex-farmer, and I know there is a need for specialised sheep services with modern gear. I’m based in Darkan in Western Australia, and I’m set up to travel to your farm. Using a machine that I’ve adapted from the Peak Hill Industries’ ShearEzy machine I’m able to shear your crossbred rams safely and quickly, taking the stress away from you, the farmer.
I am a qualified wool-classer and an accredited footrot inspector. I have invested in the latest sheep-handling equipment, so that you don’t have to.

How Easy?
We do everything for you. Just provide access to the rams in your paddock and we leave you with cleanly shorn rams.
Easy Setup
The Rambusters truck is easy to setup, taking less that ten minutes to expand the sides and add the ramps and race.
We can back up to your existing yards or build portable yards in a paddock that is accessible to our truck.
The truck is self-contained with its own generator and air-compressor, meaning it can operate anywhere it can be parked.
Shearing
Even the biggest and strongest rams are shorn quickly and cleanly using an automated platform that means the shearer does not have to bend or hold the animal. It is lifted in a crate, restrained by leg clamps, and rolled over on a platform which is safe and comfortable for the shearer and the ram.
Animal Husbandry
We can trim the hooves of your rams while they are restrained on the platform. Another option is drenching or vaccination of rams. We can administer Flexolt, the oral lice treatment from Coopers.
While we can supply a full team so that the farmer is not required, most farmers like to see the rams being shorn, and will help to pen up and push up the rams into the truck.
Not Just Rams
While rams are the hardest to shear, and the reason why Colin started Rambusters, he is not limited to shearing crossbred rams. As well as Xbred rams, Colin will shear Xbred ewes, Samm rams and Samm ewes.

How We Work
Team
Colin Clarke has been a shearer and a wool classer, and is an accredited footrot inspector.
He has an off-sider to help in the Rambusters truck, by attending to the animal husbandry required, cleaning away the shorn wool and pressing it, and helping to push up the rams.
All Inclusive
Our Rambusters shearing truck now includes a wool press, so wool will be skirted, sorted and pressed on-site. All you need to do is brand the bales! We can even trim your rams’ feet and drench them while they are restrained.
Results
Each ram returns straight to the paddock after shearing. No need to hold in a letting-out pen, or to monitor them like you do after they have been sedated.
